Thought I would offer my thoughts on the beers I have tried from the packs. I will let you know 1 to 3 in each pack (personnal preferences) I am very interested in what other masons have to say.
Pack 1. Spring 2008.
Trois Pistoles- Very strong but beautifully crafted
Franziskaner hefe-weissbier- Absolutely outstanding, my favorite. No. 1
Hobgoblin ale- Good solid brown ale. No. 3
3 Ravens Blond- Nice beer..
Gouden Carolus Classic- Strong again.
Red Angus- Don't really like Pilsener but ok
Reserva 1925- Good lager bit like Corona but better. No. 2
Pack 2. Summer 2008.
Duvel- Excellant strong golden ale. No.2
Aventinus- Good example of the style. I like it.
Green Goblin Cider- Didn't try it but my girlfriend loved it.
Blanche De Chambly- Very Very nice Really liked this one. No.1
Jamieson Beast- Too strong for me but others loved it.
Paulaner Munich Hell- Liked this one as well. Easy to drink.

Pack 3. Autumn 2009.
3 Monts- Cellared and have to let you know.
Kloster Asam Bock- Very Very Nice. No.2
Hefe-Weissbier Dunkel- Have never tried a dark wheat beer and it was as good as a pale wheat. Very Good. No. 1
Judas Strong Ale- Don't really like strong ale but this was an exception.
Red Duck Porter- Very good. Definately reccomended
St Ambroise Blond- Great, I really liked this. No. 3
3 Ravens 55 APA- Nice taste, great to drink.
Mystery Box.
This was the box that came with different beers that had been sent before, with some new ones and a nice Unibroue glass.
Unibroue Maudite- Cellared and have to let you know but I have loved all their others.
Temple Special Bitter- Quite good. Nice easy drinking beer.
Pack 4. Winter 2009.
St. Bernardus Prior 8- Cellared for a special occasion.
Schlenkerla Rauchbier Marzen- I found this a very strong smokey taste and smell. Almost overpowering. The taste was good but the smell was strong.
Fraoch Heather Ale- Loved it. Understated aroma and taste. Poured with no head and easy and refreshing to drink. Could really drink a lot of this. No.1
Duchesse De Bourgogne- Wow. Lots and lots of different tastes in 1 Bottle. Amazing.
Hard to pass judgement on this as it was so different to anything else. It could be No.1. I have no idea.
Temple Special Bitter- See above.
Mountain Goat Surefoot Stout- Very very good. Don’t normally think much of Stout but really liked this. Better than all other Stouts I have had. No.3
Paulaner Salvator- Very good dopplebock. Probably the best dopple going around at the moment. No.2
