Subject: Grosse or Kleine
We were travelling through Germany for some weeks and really enjoyed the range of beers. Crossed the border into Switzerland and noticed how dainty the beer glasses were. After a few weeks in Zug & Interlaken we again crossed into Germany and headed to the first beer house over the border. Husband (Alex) indicated to the waitress that we wanted 2 beers. the question came - grosse or kleine and he said GROSSE GROSSE. She appeared shortly after with 2x1 litre steins. Not only had she reached the 1 litre marker but had topped beyond that. With a grin on her face she said "grosse grosse". It was much much later that we left with big grins on our faces.

We are trying to get there but all depends on how busy we are in BM HQ and if we can squeeze it in. 
 
I want a full report when you get back, lots of photos and beer recommendations - can run  a story on it in The Beerist - your duty as a BM, it is a tough job... :-)
 
Closer to the date, I will put out the call to see if any other BMs are going and arrange a rendezvous.  2010 should see our first Oktoberfest Tour kick off - so will be good to do the "research"

Not a Problem i can do that for the Beerist Sounds like fun!!
 
Will be My Second time this Year in Germany , Was there earlyer in the year and loved it Loved the Beer Halls and the food  thats why iam goign back for Oktoberfest
 
and a BM Tour sounds fantastic would def go on that

I am putting together a survey of tour options to see if it really has legs to arrange a group of BMs to hit up the best breweries in Europe. Stay tuned and if you have any suggestions make sure you post them. Cheers. Renee

Iam Back From Oktoberfest It was AMAZING!  Tryed so many New Beers Favoret was Augustiner...i recomend to all beer Masons NOTE: Not Exported It was sooo good  had many Liters of beer 26 Over 4 days Very Happy  i will see if i can Post some Photos here
